notes;; short post is short, but it's the first rp post on the site! woooo~!
Another day, was it..? The young man blinked his emerald orbs. The male walked on, unfazed by the crowd he pushed his way through. The hood of his adventurer's garb drawn over his face to hide from prying eyes. His eyes were cast down to the stony surface, the sound of the clacking of stone under his feet was methodical. Though the man didn't seem to be phased by where he was, he didn't seem to have any direction he was going in particular. In fact, if it hadn't been for the crowd, he probably would have spent his time just checking out everything in his surroundings. It was all so-- new. Even so, he felt as though he'd always been here, like it wasn't so different from what he was familiar with. A hand raised to his head that pounded with a slow ache. Did he have a hang over or something? He couldn't remember having gone to the tavern-- really, he didn't know where the tavern was, if there even was such a place in this city.
He stopped before a fountain in the middle of a plaza that held many, many people. The crowd he'd been part of spit him out near a bench which he quickly interacted with, sitting down and gripping his hands together and raising them to his mouth as though he were in prayer and simply allowed his head to droop so that his mouth hid behind his appendages.
"--the Hell am I?" He whispered, his hidden brow furrowed in confusion.

Red scarf danced in the wind, feet tapped the floor rapidly pushing off the stone surface as a lone figure dashed about hidden in the shadows of the alleyways, and narrow paths of this crowded city. Brown eyes focused on the path ahead of him, taking in the detail of everything around him the individual continued to sprint at full speed. Under his right arm, a small parcel was safely tucked there wrapped in a pink cloth with a tight ribbon tied at the top, the box shaped package was part of a quest the man had taken a few days ago unfortunately he had slacked off over the passed few days, and thus this was the last day to deliver the package!
According to the quest log he would meet the contact near the fountain in the city, and would simply have to hand the package to the contact in order to complete the quest. Irritating thoughts of failing the quest plagued his mind, yet he tried to shake them off just as he was jumping out of the shadows of the alleyway, there in the distance he could see the fountain. Feet firmly planted on the ground the brown haired man focused on his pre determined destination, and sprinted off avoiding the crowd best he could, and well pushing those he had to.
"Hey!" one yelled.
"Watch it!" another yelled, with a flailing fist.
Finally the individual made it to the water fountain, upon arriving to it he could see the hooded individual sitting at the bench he figured that this was the one he was to deliver the package to. The masked individual walked over to the hooded man on the bench, he didn't say anything but then again Robin almost never spoke. He merely handed the parcel to the man pushing it into his face practically.
"Hm..." was all he could say as he waited for the man to take the parcel.

His eyes flit in one direction than another. THere were lots of people talking, laughing, hurriedly walking, some of them even dancing for no apparent reason other than to dance. It wasn't like he had any concerns about jubilant behavior, but he thought the actions were rather odd, even for the people that frequented this town. He pulled up information on several random people in the crowd. A Reptilian Warrior, level 1. Male, belonged to a guild called the black scorpions. The guy looked intimidating in his full-plate mail with a giant axe strapped to his back. A scar had formed over his left eye, presumably from a fight that hadn't gone his way. That was definitely someone he wanted to avoid. Another he'd picked out was a peculiar female. Well-- she was only peculiar in the fact that she was a Peculiar. Her beauty caused her to stand out amid the crowd, being of the noble race that blessed the southern lands. The Selesnian Rangers was the guild she belonged to. A level one mage who was adorned in green robes.
He sighed to himself. He, too, belonged to a guild, if only out of necessity to avoid an inbox full of invites. Heck, he couldn't even remember the name he'd given it. S--... umm... 's' something Infinita? He didn't know where the name had come from, it had really just popped into his mind. Almost like how this person had randomly appeared in front of him. He blinked, coming back to-- well-- wherever this was. He lifted his head to look up at the mysterious man who grunted at him, holding out the package.
"Is that... for me?" He ventured, reaching out and accepting the box. It was wrapped with a bow on top, he tilted his head and looked at it skeptically. "Thanks... I guess?" He spoke, turning the box over in his hands. He'd seen a box similar to this one before. In fact, he'd seen other people giving someone boxes and the man thanking them explicitly. Maybe he was supposed to do the same thing? He looked up at the man who seemed to be looking at him expectantly. Well, he didn't want to disappoint this person who was giving him something.
"Thanks!" He said a little more enthusiastically curving his mouth in as big a smile as he could muster. It ended up looking more like a crooked smirk than a smile, not to mention perhaps a little strained, but at least he was trying! It was the thought that counts, right? "I- I was wondering when I'd be getting it!" He continued, trying to remember what the man had said. "My-- err-- sister had sent it to me for my-- ahh-- birthday?" He stated in more a question. Had it been the guy's sister? Maybe it'd been his girlfriend, or his wife? He couldn't remember anymore. "What's your name, traveler?" He diverged from the script the guy who accepted all the box's had used. Oh! Wait! He could remember something else! "I used to be an adventurer myself, but I took an arrow to the elbow and now my adventuring days are over."
That was the line, right? For some reason it sounded a little off...

The parcel was taken from his hands, with curious eyes he waited for his reward whether it be in form of experience, or in form of money he was not sure seeing as the reward on the quest log was shrouded by three question marks. His eyes stared at the hooded man, after some not so fluid lines he would move on to another topic, where he spoke of his elbow? This made Robin blink a few times, his eyes staring curiously at the man while his concealed face distorted into an expression of utter confusion.
"Hm...
Was all he said as he stared at the man, eyes now narrowed into suspicion perhaps this was part of the quest? If so then maybe this hooded man was an impostor, and if he got away with the parcel he would cause Robin to fail the mission! The assassin reacted quickly to this situation, moving swiftly his leg came up to forcefully tap the parcel out of the man's hands, and into the air. With a skillful, yet effortless back flip he found himself upon firm feet once more, and hand catching the parcel, some of the NPC that were wandering about stopped to gather around the spectacle believing it to be a show of sorts, players also gathered to see the show.
"So you intended to steal my item shape shifter?" a deep voice asked from a mouth hidden by a crimson scarf.
A hand reached to the handle of the dagger as it was drawn from sheath at the right thigh, holding it in a tight grip with the blade aiming down at the ground, and the thumb up at the skies, the trained eyes of the Assassin stared at the hooded man. Setting the parcel down beside his foot, the man took a ready stance it was obvious a fight would break out soon.
"Come try to take my parcel then"
A challenging voice spoke now as the confident assassin waited for the man to make the first move....

The young man blinked and looked down to the parcel in his hands as the other man looked to be more confused than appreciative of his efforts. And here he'd gone out of his way to ensure he'd received the answer he was looking for. Well, there was nothing to it he supposed, the brown parcel was rather light he wanted to open it to see what was inside, but he knew it was in bad taste to do so when the guy who'd given it to him was still standing there. he was about to ask the man why he was still there when things happened. He hadn't the time to react before the brown package was kicked out of his hands. His eyes widened and he let out a small 'Ah!' of surprise as he looked up, the hood falling back at his action revealing his mid-length brown hair and a long fair face if not slightly boyish despite his apparent age. He raised his hands over his head, stretching out toward the brown package that hung just out of his reach. It landed in a pair of hands, but those hands weren't his own.
"Well," He started, his face turning into a small pout as he sulked back into his seat, "What was the point of all that if you were just gonna take the damn box away again?" He was slightly frustrated at being baited as he was. He'd never gotten a gift before and that guy he'd seen had been getting a lot of these boxes. Now that someone'd presented one to him, he'd felt happy for that moment. Too bad it couldn't last. A dark cloud hung over his head as he peered up defiantly at the red scarfed man.
"S-steal?" He stuttered, taken aback at the accusation. He sat up straight nearly immediately, his hands planting on the bench, "You were the one who gave it to me! If anything, you're stealing back what you'd willingly given to me!" He complained loudly. If there had been anyone who hadn't been looking at them, they took notice of the situation now. "Besides--" He paused, noticing the crowd that was starting to form. His words caught in his throat and he felt suddenly exposed. His hands went up to his hood and drew it over his face again. "Tch. Whatever." He grumbled.
He stood up and cast a look at the people who'd just stopped doing whatever it was they were doing. He said something indistinct before walking right past the man who was bent over in a combative position. It wasn't as though he'd walked by him and cast him a dirty look for having played him as he had-- he'd walked past him as though the faceless man didn't even exist.
